Nupur Kundu, born in New Delhi in 1975, developed a passion for painting and dance from an early age. Her artistic sensibilities were nurtured through her schooling at Springdales School, where she was exposed to a creative and cultural environment.

She pursued her formal art education at the College of Art, Delhi, completing a BFA in Painting in 1993. Alongside visual art, she continued her interest in Indian classical dance, earning Sangeet Bhaskar in Kathak and performing at various platforms.

Nupur Kundu has exhibited her work extensively in India and internationally, with her paintings showcased in countries including Dubai, Singapore, USA, and Mauritius. She has held solo and group exhibitions, including a solo show at Art Indus, New Delhi, and participated in exhibitions at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, and Surya Gallery, Hyderabad. She has also conducted painting workshops for the British Council.
