Born in 1947, this artist received formal training in painting and printmaking from the prestigious Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai, completing his G.D. Art in Painting and Post Diploma in Art Master studies during the early 1970s. His artistic journey reflects a deep engagement with both painting and printmaking, allowing him to explore diverse visual languages and techniques.
Over several decades, he has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions across India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Goa, Bangalore, Nagpur, and Udaipur. His works have also been featured in national art camps and cultural events, highlighting his contribution to contemporary Indian art.
Recognized for his dedication and creative practice, he has received several honours, including awards from the Goa State Art Exhibition, Bombay Art Society, Lalit Kala Akademi, and Goa’s Department of Art and Culture.
