Born in January 1974, the artist is a Goa-based contemporary painter who completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Goa College of Art, securing first class first. His practice reflects a deep connection with Goan culture, landscapes, and personal memories, often exploring themes of place, identity, and tradition.

Working across painting, printmaking, and murals, his art combines expressive forms with a sensitivity towards local surroundings. His works have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions across India, including major galleries and art institutions. He has also participated in several national artist camps and workshops.

The artist has received multiple honours, including State Art Awards from Kala Academy, Goa, the Camlin Art Foundation Award, and a Lalit Kala Akademi Scholarship. His artistic journey also includes international experience as an interior designer in Kuwait.

He lives and works in Goa.
