Ramesh Gorjala, born in 1979 in Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh, is a contemporary Indian artist known for his intricate paintings inspired by Indian mythology, spirituality, and cultural heritage. A graduate of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, Gorjala creates detailed portrayals of gods, goddesses, and mythological beings, blending traditional themes with a modern visual language.

His works are distinguished by rich colours, especially gold, red, and green, which create a sense of grandeur and timelessness. Rather than focusing on a single figure, he often integrates multiple divine forms, symbols, and textual elements into unified compositions. His use of patterned backgrounds, including checkerboard motifs, adds a contemporary dimension to his spiritually rooted imagery.

Through delicate detailing and symbolic arrangements, Gorjala explores the connection between mythology, devotion, and visual storytelling. His works have been exhibited widely in India and abroad, earning recognition through several awards and exhibitions.
