The artist has received numerous awards and recognitions for excellence in painting, particularly in watercolour, portraiture, and landscape studies. His achievements include the Governor of Maharashtra Award and Medal (2007), K.K. Hebber Art Foundation Award, Silver Medal from Sir J.J. School of Art, Best Painting Award from the Art Society, and the P.A. Dhond Award for Best Water Colour (2006). He has also received the Raza Foundation Award for Best Water Colour (2005), multiple awards from Sir J.J. School of Arts, and the National Heritage Culture Center Gold Medal (1999).
